If you’re craving authentic Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The menu offers a wide range of traditional dishes, from hearty stir-fries to delicate dumplings, each prepared with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The taste is genuinely reminiscent of what you’d find in China—bold, balanced, and satisfying. Signature dishes like the mapo tofu. Portions are generous, and presentation is simple yet inviting. Service is friendly and efficient, though it can get busy during peak hours. The ambiance is clean, modest, and comfortable—nothing fancy, but it adds to the authentic charm.

We ordered 1. Pumpkin sour fish 2. Baked eggplant 3. Fried cabbage The taste is good, but I am the person who love heavy taste like spicy or salty. This is my first time trying the taste of food in this restaurant and I definitely come back for other choice that’s lighter in taste or any alternative.

They served dish fast and efficient services. First try and I love it, going to try at other outlet and bring other friends. Beware, their dish small = pretty big portion. We ordered 6 dishes for 5 people seem a bit too much. But all good so we finished all.

It's my first time patronising the restaurant. In general, it was a very pleasant dining experience. The service was great and the food was even better. It's Hunan cuisine, and the food was spicy. I'd recommend the salted egg eggplant and the spicy chicken (la zi ji).

I had a fantastic meal here! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The grilled lamb was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with a deliciously smoky aroma and a hint of spice from fresh chilies and herbs. The cold shredded potato salad was crisp, refreshing, and had just the right amount of tang and heat. Both dishes were authentic and really satisfying. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty food and a comfortable dining experience!

Overall the food was good. We ordered the taro fishpot with fish slices, but the texture of the fish was rather odd. Other dishes like the shredded potato, cumin lamb, tofu with minced meat and sweet sour pork were quite tasty. Will come back again to try other dishes. The service staff were all polite and attentive.

Enjoyed the food in their Kepong branch and tried out this branch. It was a good meal especially if you love Hunan / Sichuan food. Expect bold flavours and saltiness in some dishes. Good thing is the food is not as oily as those found in China. The taro tiger grouper fishpot and crispy fish with sauerkraut and pickles were firm favourites. They do top up the soup, another plus. The spicy chicken (I call it popcorn chicken) is delicious and I had a good time picking through the meat pieces and garlic pearls. The Beijing cabbage is one of the better ones in KL, opt for the added pork belly. The chilli fried meat was good too, a bit salty for me. Beware: the spicypot lotus root is only for mala aficinadoes. The downside: they "bribe" you for 5-star ratings. The head waitress is persuasive and offered to even do the rating for you. It does get overbearing. Hence the 3 ⭐ rating for service. Atmosphere was OK. We were sat near to the door and they kept the door opened all the time. It was warm for us, especially when we were consuming hot soup. Be careful when moving around the restaurant. The floor tiles are the shiny ones. I nearly slipped when exiting the toilet. The food is generally excellent. I won't hesitate to return. Bookings are a must during the weekends.
